When did you learn about Blackshark.ai? 

I met CEO Michael Putz at a Reboot conference in Dubrovnik, where Bongfish was the main sponsor. Shortly afterwards, I had the opportunity to meet the Bongfish team in person and learn about the Flight Simulator project they were working on. I found it fascinating. I kept thinking about all the awesome use-cases that could be achieved with such a product… A couple of years later, Blackshark.ai was born, I joined, and together, we founded a subsidiary in Croatia.

Starting a New Job in the Middle of a Pandemic

Starting a new job is always a big deal – especially if it involves moving to another country! It was no different for me joining blackshark.ai, and it didn’t come without obstacles.  Arranging an international trip with all the restrictions in place was already stressful enough, but there it was. Right before my departure, and much to my distress, my entire household was obliged to undergo a 3-week quarantine due to a suspected covid-19 infection from someone in my immediate family. Just a couple of days and a weekend away from my starting date!

Meet Stefan Habenschuss

My journey with Machine Learning and Gaming started when I was 8 and my parents bought their first PC, a Commodore 286, that I started using mainly for gaming. I immediately got hooked and that’s how my passion for games started. I think it’s a common story for many people especially in the late 80s early 90s. Computer games were not as widespread as they are today so every new game we got our hands on was super exciting.
